Statement of Faith

Misión Heredad de Jacob uses the Nicene Creed in our internal by-laws as our declaration of faith. To delineate this belief a bit more, we say the following.

God is Spirit (John 4:24), the Spirit of infinite Love, the Spirit of Prayer in two-way communication and intimate communion. The Divine Trinity is One only God. The Father indwells the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son indwells the Father and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells the Father and the Son. The Father is simply and totally a will to love, a will to all goodness.

For that reason, God created angels and humanity and formed our hearts: to have children to love (Psalm 82:6). The Son is the Wisdom and Power of God, the living Word, the heart that is eternally well-pleasing to the will to love. The Holy Spirit is the proceeding forth from the Father and Son, and as such is the All in All in Whom we live, and move, and have our being.

Humanity is created in the image and likeness of God, each and every individual with an eternal soul and spirit. God is in a process of redemption of the lost union and communion that originally existed, which will be restored to perfection again in eternity for those who choose to believe and live by faith.

Our salvation is in the life of Jesus Christ within us. Or in other words, the Life of Jesus Christ dwelling within us is our eternal life. This is the new birth from above, when one opens one’s heart to Jesus, inviting Him to live within, and yielding all that one is and has to Jesus.

With this new birth from on high, from the Highest and Almighty, Triune God, we become citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus becomes our Lord and King of Glory. We become disciples of Jesus according the New Covenant, an Eternal Covenant, and when time and space enter into eternity again, we will enjoy the consummate eternal Paradise restored in complete communion with our Creator, God.

The fellowship and joyful communion of the family of all redeemed human souls/spirits in eternity is much more than words or linear analytical logic can describe, and even much more than we can imagine. A playful and eternal discovery of more and more wondrous, marvellous and pleasant patterns, colors, sounds of harmony of God’s eternal and infinite Wisdom, delighting us as God’s children, will be our eternally exceedingly joyful present moment from which our praise and joyful song will always break forth.

Here and now, we are the holy, universal, and apostolic community of believers, sisters and brothers, the family of God, born from on high. Holy because the Holy One lives within, indwells, each member of this community. Universal because we are one only, undivided, worldwide, planetary, global, body of Christ, hearts knit together in the bond of the Holy Spirit, with one only faith which is the substantial spiritual reality of our inner life together, a life of mutual love, unity, and humility. Apostolic because the primary grace that flows from God to the community of believers that we are, is a moving and filling flow of grace, the Holy Spirit, a river of living water flowing out from our innermost being, the indwelling Trinity, as it were. A flow of grace from Father to Son and to us (John 17). The flow of this primary grace was established by Jesus, to and through His twelve “apostles of the Lamb” (Revelation 21:14), and here and now Jesus calls, anoints and commissions those whom He has prepared for this ministry. That this flow of grace into the community of believers is something of primary importance is sufficiently made clear in 1Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11-12.

Here and now, Jesus, the King of Glory, is reigning as He has done since His resurrection and ascension,

until the Kingdom of Heaven is extended to “the uttermost parts of the earth” (Psalm 2:8 KJV),

is extended to “the ends of the world” (Psalm 22:27-28 KJV),

is extended “from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth” (Psalm 72:7-8 KJV),

until the victory of the cross of Jesus Christ is complete (Psalm 110).

The Holy Scriptures, in their original inspired form and language, what we refer to as the Holy Bible, is the written Word of God, and is sufficient and all we need, in its high and deep mystery and understanding, to know God, and to know our true identity as human beings. It is our guide, leading us into the new birth of Jesus Christ within, and into the eternal glory. We believe in one resurrection of the dead on that one “last day” (John 6:39, 40, 44), of all true believers who, by grace through faith have entered into the resurrection of Christ (Ephesians 2:6). We say, “worthy is the Lamb of God”, Jesus, and we sing along with all creatures “To Him who sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, forever” (Revelation 5:13) and we add our “Amen”.

To prepare ourselves together, bonded in the Holy Spirit of God, for the consummate union with Jesus, as His bride, we believe that the virtues of meekness, humility, and true resignation to God are the only Wedding Garment, they are the Lamps and Vessels well furnished with Oil. And when the Lamb of God has brought forth a real Birth of His own Meekness, Humility, and full Resignation to God in our Souls, then are our Lamps trimmed, and our Virgin-hearts made ready for the Marriage Feast.
